Fiesta’s
Philippines is now celebrating many fiesta’s. Honestly I visited 2 fiesta and today it is the fiesta at Sta. Cruz were my mother’s brother is living. So we are all going in there after our special session. A fiesta is a festival is an event, usually staged by a local community, which centers on some unique aspect of that community. Among many religions, a feast or festival is a set of celebrations in honor of God or gods. A feast and a festival are historically interchangeable. However, the term “feast” has also entered common secular parlance as a synonym for any large or elaborate meal. When used as in the meaning of a festival, most often refers to a religious festival rather than a film or art festival. In the Christian liturgical calendar there are two principal feasts, properly known as the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord (Christmas) and the Feast of the Resurrection, (Easter). In the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Anglican liturgical calendars there are a great number of lesser feasts throughout the year commemorating saints, sacred events, doctrines, etc. There are numerous types of festivals in the world. Though many have religious origins, others involve seasonal change or have some cultural significance. Also certain institutions celebrate their own festival (often called “feasts”) to mark some significant occasions in their history. These occasions could be the day these institutions were founded or any other event which they decide to commemorate periodically, usually annually.
The interview to God
I am browsing on my friendster group discussion and saw this new topic posted by a member named Jonaliza. The title it self grasp my attention so I hurriedly click the link that she put in her topic. While watching the video I really can not explain how I feel but for sure it was a great feeling. It’s sad to affirm that sometimes we stop thinking about our GOD. The presentation is great as well the photos. But what is better in this presentation is the message that the person behind this presentation wants it to share to the viewer. May occasion
Santa Cruzan is one of the occasion during May. This is the time were the kids enjoy attending prayer for they will have some food after the prayer. Today my cousin is the hermana mayor for this year’s children santa cruzan. This occasion will end up to the last day of May and is always celebrated with a big bang with the Bud Boys santa cruzan.
